About SPACEBASE
SPACEBASE is a space-branding studio that designs workspaces resembling their users, focused on the fast-growing IT and startup sector. Breaking from convention to set the industry standard, we believe "the space you work in should feel like heaven to its user," and we own the entire process — planning, design, construction, and aftercare — for projects ranging from mid-size offices to headquarters of 3,000㎡ and beyond.
How we work
- We focus on the user. A space should resemble its users.
- We design so the original value undergoes minimal transformation.
- Results over process, plans over resolutions.
- We play deeply, together.
What you'll do
- Plan spaces by analyzing client requirements and design trends
- Concept and spatial design centered on offices and workspaces
- Drive design across concept, schematic, and construction-documentation stages (floor plans, visual proposals)
- 3D modeling and visualization with SketchUp, Enscape, and similar tools
- Produce CAD drawings (plans, elevations, sections) and construction details
- Select finishes and compile finish specifications
- Plan FF&E — custom and ready-made furniture, lighting, signage, and accessories
- Estimate costs with the project office and review/negotiate contractor quotes
- Supervise the site from the first site meeting through completion, managing weekly construction reports
- Handle completion inspection and defect/aftercare response
- Lead client meetings and presentations, and coordinate partners
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in spatial/interior planning, design, and detailing (exceptional candidates considered regardless of years)
- A related major (interior design, interior architecture, etc.)
- Fluency in AutoCAD and SketchUp for drawings and 3D modeling
- Ability to read architectural drawings and a strong grasp of the full space-design process (planning → design → construction)
- Ability to articulate and defend your work, and to collaborate and communicate well
- Self-directed schedule management and accountability for delivery
- Passion, expertise, and accountability
Preferred
- Experience with office/workspace design projects
- Strong 3D rendering (Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, etc.)
- Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and proposal-writing skills
- Experience across space types — residential, commercial, retail
- Relevant certifications (e.g., interior architecture engineer)
- A valid driver's license
